When everyday is Netflix and Chill, you’re caught up in a new-release vortex that doesn’t leave you much choice to revisit any old yet amazing TV shows you’ve been planning to watch.
It’s also hard to decide what to go for when there are so many options to choose from. So here we’ve listed out our top picks to binge-on whenever there’s some free time. Note that these are pretty long, but we all have more time on our hands now, right?
We’ve also refrained from stating the obvious – Friends, The Office, Game of Thrones – Thank us later!
The Sopranos
REX/c.HBO/Everett: The Sopranos is hard to miss out on
The Italian American mob-boss, Tony Soprano, has one of the most vivid lives on television ever. The six-season show with 86 episodes is immersive, to say the least. From mob troubles to internal struggles, this show has it all.
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Probably the only character that truly loves lockdown, this show’s Larry Davis is a whole lot of fun to watch while you struggle to stay indoors. It’s ridiculous, and it’ll take up plenty of your time with 100 and counting episodes.
New Girl

Zooey Deschanel’s eccentric character Jess and her oddball friends, will make your life light and fun. Another It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with a little bit of everything, it’ll take your homestay blues away in no time.
Community
There’s a reason why Community has such a loyal fandom. Don’t get intimidated. Get in on it because it’s totally worth it!
Lost
We do agree that it loses its charm towards the latter seasons, but Lost still packs monsters, suspense, and a whole lot of conspiracy theories that you just can’t help being on the edge of your seat. And let’s face it, we can all use some thrill right now!
Gilmore Girls
As the name suggests, it’s about the Gilmore Girls. The most action you’ll see on this is Lauren Graham’s character losing-it, but the routine is oddly calming.
The X-Files
Frank Ockenfels/FOX: The Captivating show about paranormal cases
It’s dark but certainly binge-worthy! With 218 episodes, you’ll delve right into it and only see sunlight once you’ve finished. We’re joking (or are we?)—anyway, it’s a must-watch.
Seinfeld
Seinfeld gave birth to modern comedy by framing nothing and everything into one show. It’s why you have That 70’s Show, How I Met Your Mother, and Friends. Do you really need any more reasons to watch this?
Dexter
Another dark and twisted storyline. Yet, Dexter is one of the few that maintains binge-worthiness throughout, even with eight seasons. If you’re a true-crime fan, this is definitely for you.
Modern Family
If you feel like your brain is fried to follow any complicated plot, Modern Family is your go-to. You’d have no trouble keeping up, even if you miss a few episodes here and there, but believe us, you wouldn’t want to. All the characters are so easy to love, we promise!
Hope we took some weight off your to-do list by listing these fantastic shows. Now get some popcorn, get in those PJs, and binge away!
