Antonio Guillem/Shutterstock: Meeting strangers while traveling
Dignity Health conducted a survey in the United States, where they found out that 2 out of 3 traveling Americans feel less stressed when a stranger smiles or greets them.
It’s the ‘random act of kindness’ that touches a person when they are feeling unsecure in a distant place. Almost 75% of the traveling community says that they have made a kind gesture for a stranger just to make their day go better.
This shows that, while most people complain about meeting con-artists and thieves on their journeys, here are a few travelers who met their guardian angels while traveling.
These stories will surely touch your heart and might even make you do an act of kindness for a fellow wanderer.

Wesselman didn’t want to land in an outbreak without taking care of herself properly but had no idea how to find what she was looking for. A random stranger heard her talking about the problem and offered to prepare a package of a mask, gloves, and hand sanitizer. This truly affected the American traveler, who picked the package up before taking her flight.

An Enterprise shuttle arrived, and to her surprise, the driver turned the engine off and waited there until the right shuttle arrived to pick Jess up. The act touched her so much that Jess vowed to only use Enterprise service from then on!
